I’m Michelle πŸ‘‹

I am a rising senior at the University of Toronto, studying Pharmacology & Neuroscience.

My passions include neuropharmacology and healthcare technologies. As an aspiring clinician-scientist, I hope to bridge my passions to design novel therapeutics and interventional tools for neuropsychiatric applications.

Currently, I’m an Emergent Ventures grant recipient on a year-long research internship at the Graybiel Lab (MIT) where I am investigating decision making in non-human primates and building dopamine sensors.

Outside of research, I’m passionate about mentorship and accessibility. Through peer mentorship and university panels, β€” I aim to equip students with the tools for a smooth transition into university and basic β€œhow-to’s” for landing research positions and funding.

Feel free to connect with me β€” I’m always open to chat!
